# Deleting Documents
Xyicon Users
Use this article to learn how to delete the existing documents in **Portfolios, Spaces, Catalogs, Xyicons,** and **Boundaries**.
## Before you begin
- Ensure you have added at least one document to a **Portfolio, Space, Catalog, Xyicon,** or **Boundary** object**.**

## Steps
The **Documents** section appears under the **Details** **( )** tab in the side panel for every module except the **Reports** module.
1. Go to the desired module from the module menu and click on an object from the list. This can be a portfolio, space, catalog, xyicon, or a boundary.
2. Scroll down to find the **Documents** section from the side panel **Details** **( )** tab. Documents attached to the selected object are displayed under this section.
3. To delete the document, click the **More** icon **( )** next to the document name, and select **Delete** from the dropdown list.
