When used, the user can only input characters in the format of a valid email address. If a user attempts to enter an invalid email address, a clear error message is displayed, instructing them to “Enter a valid Email”. This automatic validation reduces the chances of error when typing in email addresses. ## Steps 1. On the Xyicon Header, click the **Settings****(   )** button. 2. Under **Settings**, click on the desired module. 3. Click on the **Fields** Tab. 4. Click on **(+) Create** to create a new field. 5. In the **Create New Field** Panel that opens, click on the drop-down in front of Field Type and select **Email**. 6. Give a name for your field. 7. Optionally, turn on **Display On Links**, provide a **Field Description**, and add **Helper Text** as needed. 8. Click on **Create** to create your new field.
