Use this article to learn the ways to save a new report or save changes to an existing report. 

To learn how to create a new report, read Creating a Report and Cloning a Report for details on how to duplicate a report. To learn how to edit an existing report that belongs to the user created report category, read Updating a Report.

Once you click the Create, Duplicate, or Edit buttons In the Reports Module, a window opens on the right that allows you to save your report. After you have followed the steps mentioned in the relevant article you could use one of the below options to save the report.


Option 1 - Save and Run the Report Immediately

  1. In the window that appears, follow the steps mentioned in the relevant article to create a new or edit an existing report.
  2. Click the Save & Run button highlighted below, to save and run the report immediately. 
  3. The Report Preview window will open once the report saved and ready to be downloaded.
    • To download the report, press Download as Excel and the report will be downloaded. If you require the report to be downloaded in CSV format, click the Downward as Excel Options dropdown next to Save & Run and select Download as CSV.
  4. In the Report Preview, you can save the report with a different report name by clicking the Save Options dropdown button next to Save (as shown below). 
  5. Click on Save As and a dialog box will open, enter the new name you want the report to be saved as and click Save.

Option 2 - Save and Run Reports Later

  1. In the window that appears, follow the steps mentioned in the relevant article to create a new or edit an existing report.
  2. Click the Save & Run Options button next to Save & Run (as highlighted in the image below). The Save button will appear. 
  3. Click Save to save the report and you will be able to run the Report from the Reports module later.
