    Deleting a Xyicon

    Use this activity to learn how to delete a xyicon from Xyicon permanently. 

    CAUTION: When you delete a xyicon, all its details are permanently removed from the organization, and this action cannot be undone. If you want to remove a xyicon from a space temporarily, unplot the xyicon instead of deleting it. Unplotting a xyicon only removes associated data such as ports and links.

    Before you begin

    Make sure that your Xyicon User has the necessary permissions to delete xyicons. User Permissions are managed by your organization's Xyicon Administrator.

    Steps

    1. Go to Main Menu (    ) > XYICONS. The XYICONS module lists all available xyicons for your active portfolio.
    2. Select the checkboxes against the xyicons you want to delete.
      TIP: If the xyicon you want to delete is not visible, check that you are on the correct View.
    3. Click the Delete button (   ) on the Action Bar. You will be prompted to confirm the number of xyicons to be deleted.
    4. Click Yes to delete.
