What is the difference between deregistering and deregistering and delete in model registration?

In model deregistration users can choose to either select Deregister only in which case the link between Revit and Xyicon is broken but the data is still available in Xyicon, or they can select deregister and delete in which case the model will be deregistered breaking the connection to Xyicon as well as delete all the data as well from Xyicon.

Can i connect directly to my company ACC account’s BIM360 to update the model?

Not currently. However Xyicon is actively working on a solution for users to be able to connect directly to ACC and update their Revit models.

Do I need to manually update my Revit Add-in to the latest version each time a new release comes out?

No, the add-in is designed to self update as new releases come through. You will be prompted when there is a new release if you wish to download and continue with using the add-in. If yes, the latest version will be downloaded and the Updater will run once you close Revit.

When switching between Revit models or opening a new model, do I need to re-login to ensure data is written to the correct portfolio?

Yes, users will need to re-login to Xyicon when switching between Revit models or opening a new model to ensure data is being written to the correct portfolio. (Expected resolution: April 2024)

What is required for successful view registrations in Xyicon's Revit Add-in?
