Opening your Space in the Space Editor

Use this article to learn how to open your space in the Space Editor. You can access the Space Editor from different modules.

Before you begin

Make sure your Xyicon User has the necessary permissions to access the Space Editor. User Permissions are managed by your organization's Xyicon Administrator.

PORTFOLIOS Module

Method 1

1. Go to Main Menu > PORTFOLIOS.
2. Select a portfolio that includes a space.
3. On the Side Panel > Details tab ( ), scroll down to the Spaces section.
4. Click on a space thumbnail to open it in the Space Editor.

Method 2

1. Go to Main Menu > PORTFOLIOS.
2. Double-click on a portfolio that includes a space. This will take you to the Spaces Module.
3. Double-click on a tile to open the space in the Space Editor.

SPACES Module

Method 1

1. Go to Main Menu > SPACES.
2. Double-click on a tile to open the space in the Space Editor.

Method 2

1. Go to Main Menu > SPACES.
2. Select a space.
3. On the Side Panel > Details tab ( ), click on the thumbnail of the space to open the space in the Space Editor.

XYICONS Module

1. Go to Main Menu > XYICONS.
2. Hover over a xyicon record on the table. 
3. Click the Open in Space Editor button ( ) displayed to the left to open the Space Editor.

BOUNDARIES Module

1. Go to Main Menu > BOUNDARIES.
2. Hover over a boundary record on the table. 
3. Click the Open in Space Editor button ( ) displayed to the left to open the Space Editor.
