Rotating a Xyicon

Use this article to learn how to rotate a xyicon on the space. You can rotate a xyicon by using the Rotate button ( ) of the xyicon in the Space Editor or by changing the xyicon's rotation property.

Before you begin

Make sure that your Xyicon User has the necessary permissions to view and update xyicons. User Permissions are managed by your organization's Xyicon Administrator.

Method 1 - Rotate a Xyicon using the Rotate button

1. Select one or more xyicons you wish to rotate.
2. Click the Rotate button ( ) on the Action Bar for the xyicon(s).
3. Grab the rotate handle and turn the xyicons until it is in the desired position.

Method 2 - Rotate a Xyicon by Changing the Xyicon's Rotation Property

1. Select one or more xyicons you wish to rotate.
2. On the Side Panel > Details tab ( ), scroll down to the Properties section.
3. Under Rotation, click on the field labeled Z and update the value as needed.
4. Select the checkmark ( ) next to the field to save the changes. You can also press the Tab key or click outside the field to do the same.
