Use this article to learn how to view the existing documents in Portfolios, Spaces, Catalogs, Xyicons, and Boundaries.

The attached documents are displayed as thumbnails or application icons within the documents section of the details tab for a selected object.

Before you begin

  • Ensure you have added at least one document to a Portfolio, Space, Catalog, Xyicon, or Boundary object.

Steps

The Documents section appears under the Details (    ) tab in the side panel for every module except the Reports module.

  1. Go to the desired module from the module menu and click on an object from the list. This can be a portfolio, space, catalog, xyicon, or a boundary.
  2. Scroll down to find the Documents section from the side panel Details (    ) tab. Documents attached to the selected object are displayed under this section.
  3. Use the grid view button (   or the table view button (    ), to switch between the document view.documents 1(1)
  4. Clicking on an existing document from the details panel in any module should initiate the subsequent actions.

  5. To preview the document, click the More icon (    ) next to the document name and select Preview from the dropdown list. Hovering over the document in grid view displays the More icon (    ).
    The Preview feature is available only for file types with the on-click action set to Preview or Open in a new tab, as listed above. For file types not mentioned, such as MP4, WEBM, FLV, etc., the default action upon clicking is downloading the file.

  6. You can use Find (    ) to search for the documents.
