    Marking Catalog Items as Favorites

    This feature enables users to mark catalog items as favorites. By doing so, the user can quickly access and use these catalog items. This feature is beneficial to users who frequently use the same catalog item on multiple occasions.

    Before you Begin

    Make sure you have permission to see the space editor and catalog items in the Catalog Panel. User permissions are managed by your organization's Xyicon Administrator.

    Save Catalog Items as favorites

    Method 1 - Using the Catalog Module

    To mark a catalog item as a favorite, go to the Catalog Module and hover over a row that is not already selected as a favorite. You will see an outline of a star icon in the far left column. You can mark the row as a favorite even without selecting the row.

    Method 2 - Using the Catalog Panel inside the Space Editor

    When you open the Space Editor, the Catalog Panel is located in the Space Editor Toolbar where you can view all available catalog items.

    When you hover over a catalog item, click the star icon to add it to favorites.


    Viewing Catalog Items in your favorites

    1. Open the Catalog Panel in the Space Editor or XYICONS module.
    2. Click the View Selector dropdown.
    3. Turn on/off the Only Favorites toggle to switch between seeing only the favorite catalog items and all items in the selected view in the panel. 
    TIP: The toggle applies to all catalog panel views. If no catalog items are marked as a favorite in a view, you will not see any thumbnails when the Only Favorites toggle is turned on.

     

    Removing Catalog Items from your favorites

    1. Open the Catalog Panel in the Space Editor or XYICONS module.
    2. Hover over a catalog item that is in your favorites.
    3. Click the Remove from Favorites button (    ).
