Assigning Catalog Permissions

Use this article to learn how to assign Catalog Permissions to users.

Before you begin

• Only Xyicon Administrator can rename and delete permission sets.

Catalogs are common across all portfolios within an organization. Therefore, catalog permissions cannot be defined through a specific portfolio or portfolio group, and they should be assigned to individual users in the organization separately.

Steps

1. Go to Users from Settings ( ) and select the user.
2. On the side panel Details tab ( ), you will see the Catalog Module section.
3. Use the slider to assign the permission level.
4. You can allow the user to View, Edit, or Delete the catalog items.
   • View - Users will only be able to view the catalog items within their organization.
   • Edit - Users will be able to view and edit the catalog items within their organization.
   • Delete - Users will only be able to view, edit, and delete the catalog items within their organization.
