Editing and Deleting Permission Sets

Use this article to learn how to edit and delete a Permission Set.

Before you begin

• Ensure you have created at least one permission set. To edit or delete a permission set, you must have created a permission set first.
• Only Xyicon Administrator can rename and delete permission sets.

Editing a Permission Set

It is possible to modify the levels of permissions within an existing permission set. Additionally, you can change the name of the permission set even after it has been created and assigned to the appropriate users.

Editing the Permission Levels

1. Go to Permission sets from Settings ( ).
2. Select the permission set that you want to edit.
3. Use the slider to modify the General Permissions and Field Permissions levels within Portfolios as needed.
4. Similarly, change the permission levels for the appropriate types and fields within the Spaces, Boundaries, and Xyicons modules according to your preference.

Renaming a Permission Set

1. Select the relevant permission set by clicking on the ( ) icon.
2. Next, select Rename from the dropdown menu.
3. Rename the permission set and click Enter.

Deleting a Permission Set

1. Go to Permission sets from Settings ( ).
2. Select the permission set that you want to delete by clicking on the ( ) icon.
3. Next, select Delete from the dropdown menu.
4. Enter the number of items as 1 and click Delete.
