Article summary

        Xyicon Users

Use this article to learn how to link two or more boundaries in the Space Editor. Linking boundaries allow you to propagate information between different boundary types.

Before you begin

Make sure that your Xyicon User has the necessary permissions to view and update spaces and boundaries. User permissions are managed by your organization's Xyicon Administrator.

Steps

  1. Open your space in the Space Editor.

  2. If the boundaries you want to link exist in the space, move or edit one boundary so that it is contained inside the other to create the boundary-to-boundary link.

Alternatively, you can draw a new boundary within an existing one to create the link.

  3. Check the Links Section on the Details tab to verify the boundary-to-boundary link.

  4. To break a boundary-to-boundary link, select the boundary from which you want to remove the association and move the relevant boundary out of the other.
