Navigation Panel

The Navigation Panel in Xyicon provides access to organization-wide features and portfolio-specific workspaces. It is divided into two main sections:

  • Organization-level navigation

  • Workspace-level navigation

Understanding these sections helps you move efficiently across organizations, portfolios, and views within Xyicon.


Organization-Level Navigation

The Organization-level section appears by default when you sign in to Xyicon. It allows you to manage and navigate across organizations and high-level modules.

1. Organization Switch

Use the Organization Switch button to view and select from the organizations available to you.

Selecting a different organization updates the modules and views accordingly.

2. Home

Click the Home button to return to the main dashboard of the selected organization.

3. Modules

The following module buttons provide access to core organization-level features:

  • Portfolios – View and manage portfolios within the organization.

  • Catalogs – Access and manage catalogs used across portfolios.

  • Reports – Create and view organization-wide and portfolio-level reports.

4. Portfolio Switch

The Portfolio Switch button displays the active portfolio.

To switch to another available portfolio, click this button and select a portfolio from the list.

Selecting a portfolio opens the Workspace-level navigation panel.


Workspace-Level Navigation

The Workspace-level navigation becomes available once a portfolio is selected. It provides access to portfolio-specific spaces and views.

1. Spaces

The Spaces section lists all spaces available within the selected portfolio.

Use this section to navigate between different spaces.

2. Create View

Click Create View to create a new custom view for the selected portfolio.

3. Views

The Views button expands to display all views created within the organization.

These views can be reused across portfolios where applicable.

4. Favorite Views

The Favorite Views section displays only the views you have marked as favorites.

This allows quick access to frequently used views.


1. Pin Navigation Panel

Use the Pin button () at the top of the navigation panel to pin it to the left side of the screen for persistent visibility.

2. Import

The Import button () at the bottom of the panel allows you to import data into the selected portfolio.

3. Help

Click Help () to access product help resources and documentation.

4. Settings

Use Settings () to manage application and user-specific configurations.
