Snap to Angle

If you want to draw boundaries with consistent angles, the Snap to Angle feature in Space Editor makes it easy. When enabled, this feature aligns each line segment at 45-degree intervals, helping you create boundaries with uniform angles. Consistent angles ensure your design looks neat and professional.

Use this guide to learn how to enable and use Snap to Angle.

Before you begin

Make sure your Xyicon User has the necessary permissions to access the Space Editor. User Permissions are managed by your organization's Xyicon Administrator.

Steps

1. Navigate to the Spaces module and double-click on your space to open it in the Space Editor.

2. Click the Settings icon in the bottom-right corner of the Space Editor.

3. From the menu, click Snap to Angle. A check mark icon will appear, indicating that the feature is enabled.
   Enabling this helps you draw boundaries with consistent 45-degree angles.

   Note: Snap to Angle is enabled by default. To disable it, simply follow the same steps above.
