Snap to Grid

Accurate alignment is important for maintaining a clean and organized design. The Snap to Grid feature allows you to accurately align your xyicons, boundaries, and markups along invisible grid lines while moving them in the Space Editor.

Use this article to learn how to use Snap to Grid.

Before you begin

Make sure your Xyicon User has the necessary permissions to access the Space Editor. User permissions are managed by your organization's Xyicon Administrator.

Steps

1. Navigate to the Spaces module and double-click on your space to open it in the Space Editor.

2. Click the Settings icon in the bottom right corner of the Space Editor.

3. From the menu, click Snap to Grid. A check mark icon will appear, indicating that the feature is enabled.
   Enabling this makes it easier to align Xyicons, Boundaries, and Markups within your space.

   Note: Snap to Grid is enabled by default. To disable it, simply follow the same steps above.
